Yes, this should work. Are you sure that you have done anything else from the walkthrough and did not leave anything out (e.g. taking out the color code from the hole or anything like that?).

Well check then please:

do you have a red 4 on vase?
did you have a blue note with 3 on it when you gave fruit to spider?
do you get a yellow 9 when hitting the spider?
do you have an 8 in the green colored water of the aquarium (did you put green pill in aquarium?)

Well, I did not zoom in (never realised it was possible...). And if you would try without zooming in?
No idea, it should really work if you haven't forgotten anything. It worked for everybody else and I haven't seen any bug reports on any forums. I'm running out of ideas...

Okay, just played it through with zoom in and the code

plus hitting the enter button on the numeral pad worked. Either there is a bug for you or there is a tiny thing that you haven't done yet. I can't tell.

For some reason, I cannot get the 2nd spider to die!! I have hit him repeatedly with the crowbar. any ideas?? that is all I lack and I will be out..

That yellow thing that looks like a glove? I think its supposed to be a flower so that you can pollinate the other plant to get the fruit.

It's the same spider in the first room that you have to beat with the crowbar and give him the fruit. The other spider in the aquarium room is just "decoration" ;-)

Great Game

I actually made it nearly to the end all by myself for once. I couldn't see the number on the jar (it was too dark even after I put the bulb - which I thought was a screw! - in) and I kept on looking for the fourth digit. Besides the red key drove me crazy, couldn't find where it belonged, and so it turned out that I didn't need it.

I loved this game and hope we'll get more like it!

actually i'm a girl, but that doesn't matter.. i finished my test today and i think i did quite well, but the text was really really hard and to the guy who said he didn't finished his homework because of this game: well, me too i'm always having trouble finishing my homework when i'm playing games on gamershood, i LOVE room-escape games, but they take away way too much time
