wet the cloth using the tap and wipe the mark away from above that bed thing. then u will understand where to use the hammer

I've found a wrench and used it on the black box on the table but I don't know what happened. I've lost the wrench now - don't know what it did. I can't get the water on either. I have a key that I don't know what to do with. I'm frustrated

Bah! Can't find the knob so I can't get the cloth wet. I knew that I needed to do it, but not how. And I saw stuff to be done with the wet cloth.

After pixel hunting from reading a comment on another site, I found something useful next to the bench thingie on the left. I thought there must be, but never hit the right pixel.

My pixel hunting was really bad tonight. I could not do the final step for the code, so thanks to those providing clues.
