Well, I have towel and wooden leg and have seen note on table. Trying to use my items on everything to no avail.

PoP found a use for the wooden leg, finally.

where I can't zoom in
and neither can I use my

towel, my only thing in my inventory

@ not me, I suspect we need to get the towel wet first, maybe. I don't know how though. I tried the sink and the toilet. Didn't seem to help...

get towel, read note on top of table by books, get wooden table leg (right, back leg), use table leg on small patch of brick upper left of door, get metal bar.

I agree, I thought so, too, but it seems that we are missing the handle for the tap
I have to admit it: I tried to wet it at the toilet too
