I mean the one that has white/green board, colored buttons etc. There is a yellow spot beneath this device, you can connect it there.

I started looking on the other forum because I am completely stuck and found a hint:

You can put the "lamps", which are above the surgical table, down using the wrench on them. So far I am able to do this only with the right "lamp"

I still dont see where to

attach the valve on the board on the wall. Where about do you attach it? Im looking on the board with the green buttons and cant see anything =(

I think that you first have to connect the one end of the valve to the tank. And then conect the other end to the yellow hub which is located under the big red lever

attach the valve and the pipe to the oxygen tank on the left and the board on the wall, the big hand goes up on the screen.

What now? lol

really need to find a screwdriver and solve the number keypad!

if you already put down the lamp, put the lens on the lamp laying on the floor and you see the code

every time i seem to be wrong about the color code ,the numbers on the picture change.is this about combining numbers(colors) ?

try using the tab key is even more stupid ,you dont see anything anymore.

Managed to finish with a lot of help from other forums. Otherwise it would have been impossible to figure out what to do. I'm glad it's over.

Scarlet Room 2 Walkthrough

go to picture with tree and clouds. Note the numbers on the bottom of the "roots." Take the square root of those numbers and look at the corresponding colors on the big machine.
Square Root List
81 = 9 = white
64 = 8 = light bluw
49 = 7 = purple
36 = 6 = dark blue
25 = 5 = green
16 = 4 = yellow
9 = 3 = orange
4 = 2 = red

click on the colored circles one the alien's feet to change them to match up with the numbers/colors of the tree picture. then click on the alien's "arm." it'll flash and you'll get a scene about hexagons and prime numbers. once that is over, the red haze over the room will be gone.

click by the oxygen tanks and pick up the hose and mask.

go over to the tree picture and click on the clock. click on one of the buttons and wait for the clock to turn red. click on it and pick up the "lens." use the lens over the tree picture and take note of the numbers in the clouds (and also the placement of the clouds). using the internet, look up the full list of prime numbers. find the placement of the numbers in the clouds (ex. 2 would be the first number, 2 would be the second, 5 would be the third, etc.) here's a helpful link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_prime_numbers

go to the picture with the moving ball. click and drag the lens over one of the dark clouds and let go. it will zoom in and you'll find two spots. click on one of them and either 10 dots will appear or a single dot. using these buttons, make the number of dots correspond with the placement numbers from the white clouds you found earlier. Example: If the number in the cloud on the left was 71, then it would be the 20th number, so you would want 20 dots to appear. using the button that makes 10 dots appear, click it twice. make sure you put the right numbers in the right clouds. when you're done, the ball will start to move in a pattern in the middle, revealing a wrench. wait for it to fall, then pick it up.

While facing the machine, use the wrench on the satellite thing. You have to do it a couple times, but eventually it will fall down. When it does, move to the right, using the red lens, find the four digit code on the satellite thing. its written upside down in the lower left corner of the screen. go back to the machine and punch in the code on the colored numbers. A gauge on the big machine will move and will be activated.

going back to the tree picture. use the lens to find the remaining numbers (you'll notice that the numbers you've already used are gone). find their placement in the chart, and go back to the big machine. this grid is basically the same one as from the link above. there are 11 boxes per row, click on the placement of the remaining numbers to highlight them green. when you've highlighted all of the right ones, another gauge will activate.

NOTE: at some point, a piece of paper will have been slid under the door, just push it back under, you don't need it yet.

go back to the oxygen tanks. using the wrench, remove the gauge from the right oxygen tank. take it from your inventory and put it on the left oxygen tank. attach the mask and hose to the gauge. then use the wrench again to remove the mask from the hose. attach the hose to the bottom of the big machine (there's a little yellow half circle thing at the bottom of the machine). turn the knob on the tank, then pull the lever on the machine. one of the gauges on the machine will move to show you've done it right.

paper dolls should have been slid under the door. click on them to slide them back.

red hexagons should start appearing on the walls. go back to the tree picture, click on it till it falls. zoom in on the puzzle behind the picture. click on all the symbols to light them up. zoom out. take the lens and hold it over the puzzle and let go. it will zoom in and reveal a key. take the key and use it on the door. the knob will fall out. you may have to wait a while and move about the room, but at some point, the dolls should have been slid back under the door, this time with blood on them. click on them, then use the key on the doll with the hole in it. you're done.
