froze up - restarting .. drat! I was at last making some progress.
Evidently did something out of order as something isn't working that did last time. - restarting!
Ok - past first freeze up and into new territory. Tiptoeing ..
Good heavens! Who would have thunk! - odd combinations .. and I'm out.

I'm out. Love these games, although the house this person/these people live in looks like it should be explored...or fixed up...or condemned.I did feel sorry for Basil who was sleeping peacefully.
Folks, I never advise you to do that in Real Life unless you want to be scratched really good...

Great game. Loved it
WALKTHROUGH
~ Take the alarm clock which is on top of the left bedside cabinet.
~ Click on the phone that is on the right bedside cabinet.
~ Take the receiver and then the phone instrument.
~ Zoom out and open the topmost drawer of the right bedside cabinet. Take the pen.
~ Zoom out and go right.
~ Click on the cuckoo clock. Note the time. It's 2 o'clock.
~ Zoom out and go right.
~ Place the alarm clock on the window cill.
~ Click on the clock and set the time to 2 o'clock.
~ The alarm will ring. It will scare away the cat. Take the key.
~ Take the rope that is tied on the left curtain.
~ On the same screen click above.
~ Attach the phone instrument on the bulb.
~ Go right. Use the pen on the 2 screws. Take the saw.
~ Use the key on the cupboard. Take the glue.
~ Face the bed screen. Click on the glue and then the saw.
~ The receiver, and saw will be glued and you have a home made saw.
~ Use the saw on the bottom right vertical column of the four poster bed.
~ Combine the rope and the wood.
~ Face the door. Use the object on the phone instrument. Then click on it. It will break the door.
