tie the shoelace in the inventory then go under the bed and swing it at the thing thats sticking out to get the hammer

Hello I'm back. I just can't get the shoelace. I feel really miserable. Perhaps I haven't got teeth. How do you bite things?

press the top part of the left boot, then get the head out and bite on the lace, it should work

Yes I talked through the door but I didn't get any teeth. What should have happened? Perhaps I should begin again because I now don't have a notepad.

thats weird, it shouldve worked. try it again but press the skip dialogue thing at the top right
