I've gotten two endings so far - but need to try for a better end. Stay away from kids head and clicking on window!
ARGH! - teardrop end again .. Need to tidy a bathroom and then I'll try again.
I've got

key (used), broken ornament, car, one wheel, hammer, note. I've avoided breaking the bank. found wheel under bed - but not touching the kid's head.

and I'm stuck .. mind not working and I don't like pixel hunting. I clicked on books in order of bulbs and the bulbs in order of books .. can't find other wheel or axil.

Well, after much trial and error, I found the good ending.

Once you have the hammer DO NOT break the piggy bank. And you have to read the letter to Santa (at least I assume that's what it is) in order to fix the car. If you need more hints than that, let me know. You do use everything else you pick up.
