i can only find 3 gifts from tree, and can't pick up anything from bookshelf or find lightswitch. help plz

I had the same problem, then I clicked back to the tree and randomly found the fourth gift. you need four gifts before you can pick up the books and move the statue. Pretty annoying.

Did you put the map together, because you need to do that first. Click the first piece and then when you zoom in drag the rest of the pieces to it.

Also... unrelated to the matter but how do i add a picture and a signature and a status and all that??
