i can't seem to find or do anything

So far I have:

bronze looking key (used), knife (used), handle (used), gold key (used), bucket of ice and a nut

Now I'm stuck!

stuck now with these unused items:

nut, 2 screws, and bowl of ice

I cracked

the nut! use the nut next to the stove and put the screw in it and use the handle to break it

stand the nut on the counter and put a screw in it. Why? I have no idea!
