YES! I got out after having to repaly it all I didn't find all the secrets though
Good game, very clever hints and hiding spots . I would like to see a save function and a button to turn off sound for the sequel though

if you have opened the locked compartment on the stairs you will have to turn and face the door to the left of the stairs. The door that leads to the room with the big black electric door. The point is to get a side view of the stairs compartment
