You have fallen into a pit, which was made to trap animals.Find objects and use them to escape from the pit.

You use

the stone to dig it out of the dirt...if I remember correctly. Or it might have been a stick. It was on the ground thought, sort of buried. (Hard to describe where considering the whole thing was dirt.

You mean the root? I can't zoom in around there. I've been clicking everywhere after getting the 4 woods and I'm stuck.

nevermind, you have to

cut out another notch below the root before you can zoom in above it. I must have missed that one notch

Another pixel-hunt/left-mouse-button-killer game...

By the way, make sure you use "wood 1" for the first rung because "wood 2" is definitely not designed to fulfill this purpose... Who said escape games were logical anyway ?
