how do you access your inventory i know i've click on a few things that disapeared but don't know how to look at them

i did everything it says in the walkthrough, but pliers/antenna doesn't work!

Are you shore that you have the pliers and not the wrench? Some have been a little comfused about that. It is also important that your "clicking" is presise!!!
