lol, me too, but confused about the box with the circles on it, tried using colours from bookshelf but no luck

For me it was

N/North=red, S/South=red, E/East=Green, W/West=Yellow. On the box it would be, from top clockwise- red, green,red,yellow.

I can't remeber where Y was. I still need V. for key

get stick from left of staircase and go outside to right get key from fence.
