Yep! that would be the correct corner. The cup goes in the bottom left corner of the darker grey wall. (The wall that fills the upper right side of your picture.) Can't detail it any better than that. Unless of course the cup was actually in the picture too.

put the stool under the shelf and get a look at the top view of the shelf first...then you can move stool and place cup...
