Oh DUH, just figured out how to place the 4 #'s for the doorcode

The 4 patterns are also letters, for example

is O, add P E and N and spell OPEN. The E and N are small case. Didn't see them at first.

Thanks! I agree e was a weak link and n wasn't much better. It was the O and P that got me on track. I knew there had to be a clue somewhere for the door other than brute force.

The various shapes from around the room were the letters o,p,e, and n. If you entered the letters in the way they were presented into the touchpad you get a shape that appears. The shapes are two numbers side by side that are mirror images of each other. If you put those number in the order of the letters you get the code.

Thanks Jack for the more detailed explanation! It all makes sense now.......... Out with perfect end.... I had no problems at all until it came to figuring out what the shapes meant.
