Hmmm. That just makes me put the knife down.

Did you do anything with the battery.

I've just tried it again - it's a really short game. Once I read the note, I lifted the knife and clicked on the hand. Guess what the key is deep within... Didn't use the battery.

Judging from the previous posts and the note that "the key is deep within" I'm guessing we are going to cut ourselves up SAW style to get a key. It's not happening, though.

When you say "read the note", do you mean you could actually hold it / see it ? ...'cuz, I can't select it.

Yeah, sounds like we are supposed to select it and click on the hand thats on the right of the inventory? That's what I'm trying to do. And click the note first, so you can see the text of what it says. Then take knife and click on hand. That is what I'm doing that does not work!

Maybe a restart is in order. There will be blood!

Yep. Restarted and it worked.

Had to go for a couple of minutes. Just tried it again - you can't lift or hold the note, but it gives the text in the bottom left corner when you click the note. Then I lifted the knife and clicked on the empty hand - the first time I did it by accident but I've tried it a couple of times and it seems to work. Sorry

Not on the note but when I click the note it says some thing like "scripted note the key is deep within" on the bottom left of the screen.

I restarted and it worked. Just restart and end your frustration.

Yeah select the knife so that it's being held in front of you. I've tried it in the view facing the bed and also facing the wall that you smash with the hammer. I'm so sorry I can't be any clearer - it's usually me struggling with something!

I have to go now but I hope that you succeed. It's not even that enjoyable a game, but it's so frustrating when you can't get something!
