actually you need more than 7 cards. i have the feeling you actually need 14.
i can see one card and you can click it but nothing happens.
found 5 white and 6 brown.
i see one card you can't click, seems the game has a bug.
no clue where the rest are as there aren't many places u can actually click

yeh i've got 5 of each now...cant click that one neither thou, im thinking maybe thats a door indicator?

I got 6 silver cards and 6 golden cards...
I have the same problem as brainisdead, I cannot seem to pick up the seventh silver card :s.

There is a card in the right eye of the painting, it's very hard to see :p
