The red tile is found when you find the code for the lever.

Hmm, not sure I am following. I have the

Knife, binoculars, bucket with Ice tied to lever, Green and Blue tiles inserted to safe

Near as I can tell I need to get the code to the Lever puzzle to get the Red tile and that will open the safe which will get me the code out the door.

So, I have looked at the bridge and noticed the missing letters

ROMA

, but how do those translate into the 4 digit code to open the lever puzzle?

used paper pad.
how do i secure the bucket as i think i know the code.

Those are not the numbers you need for the lever code.... I actually got out without doing anything with the missing letters. Not a clue why they are there (or not there).
