I can't get out! I've gotten all of the treasure, I've opened all the doors, I've filled and emptied my inventory, and I'm still stuck. I can't get anything out of the box in the room to the right of the clock to place in the scale. And it won't let me

place what's on the floor in the scale.

Any help?

hmmm.. do I need to set the clock in the bedroom? Almost time to eat.

looked at greenbook, used lighter, still have ladder, doorknob and have a key. used a hammer, used block of ice, used a key, hmm.. moved a flower .. tried the phone

which gave me a key. I've used all keys and ladder and have a red blob and the doorknob

Aha!! found two cogs/wheels for clock - need two more. just have knob with me now.
OK - found them so guess clock is OK. Found another thing that disappeared when I clicked on it. The treasure? So are there more than 2? I got "END" so guess I did OK?
Need to check email, get the pup out .. I'll check back tomorrow and see if someone figures out how to tell if that was the best ending.

I have (I think) everything except the thing between frying pan and lighter in inventory, and I still have 2 rooms upstairs that I cannot open (locked). What am I missing?

Must not need the 2 rooms upstairs... out with "English End". Liked the size of the search and the puzzles, nicely done.

Got the bad end but sor of lost the will to live anyway and didn't bother to find the good end.

bad ending: Japanese text in front of the house. Click on it and the text will scroll. More text, then a Japanese statement with an exclamation point that (I assume) tells you that you didn't get all of the treasure with a prompt to try again.

good ending: Different Japanese text in front of the house. Click to fade black with more text. Click again to see a lot more text in the form of a letter with a background of a letter, an opened envelope and a map. Click again for more text then the only English word in the game: "END"

look to the big clock and open the second door on the right pick up the small piece of gold and put it in the small weight scale and pick up another one from the box and put in the big .weight scale the door in the room will be open..
