I had some trouble with the code but since the middle number was easy, I was able to do brute force. Still, how did you get the other two numbers? Namely the first and last ones. I just didn't find the

solution for the missing numbers in those two pattern sequences

sub(stract) 1, add 22, sub 3 add 4, sub 5... got it ?

I think I got the last number :

So the final serie is 1, 3, 8, 19, 39, 71, 118...
If you make the différence between a number and the preceding one, you get :
2, 5, 11, 20, 32, 47 and if you do the same job in this new serie you get :
3, 6, 9, 12, 15, ... wich can easily be continued...

You have 1, ?, 8, 19, 39, 71, 118... what are the differences between them?

?, ?, 11, 20, 32, 47... what are the differences between those???

?, ?, 9, 12, 15... see the pattern at this point???

Multiples of 3... now work backwards... so you get 3, 6, 9, 12, 15 so then you will get 2, 5, 11, 20, 32, 47... so the answer is

1, 3, 8, 19, 39, 71, 118
