edit: Sudoku solved. My brain hurts.

I have

screwdriver, 7 screws, hammer looking thing, 2 keys (used) 2 long and 4 short sticks which formed into a ladder and piece of paper with sudoku puzzle.

stuck!

looked at the picture on the shelf which shows the ladder but I can't seem to place it...maybe I'm missing something?

The colored blocks in soduku are giving me a hard time. I keep forgetting they are open grrrr.
