Might be a daft question but where is the key and how do you make the base.?

Use key to open the drawer and investigate the drawer with the hammer.

i can't get the hammer or decipher the codes at all............i hate codes that are too cryptic

Fill the thing you found in the cupboard with water, and put it in the freezer

ok now i want to know how to open the various packets of stuff i've found, mainly because I can't do anything to make a cheesecake apart from smash cookies.

Open all kitchen's cupboards to get number hint, cookies and ice cube tray.
Fill ice tray with water put it in the fridge, take it out and you have a hammer.
Use hammer to smash cookies, and pick up the green key on the plate.
Use key to open drawer kitchen. Take out flour, and note triangle = six.
Click bottom of drawer to reveal hidden compartment, take lemon, and note star on 5th row 6th column.
Use the cupboard number clue on the painting (bottom left, top right, top left, bottom right), to get whisk. Note square = 4. Examine whisk, and note circle = 4.
Use hammer on 5th row, 6th column tile, and get milk. Note star = 9.
Take baking pan and green bowl out the cabinet.
Open fridge with all the symbols clues you found (4649). Take out ingredients.
Put crumbled cookies in baking pan. Put other ingredients in green bowl, whisk them, and put it in the baking pan too.
Put your cheesecake in fridge, take it out, examine the bottom.
Use code on locker, take out box.
Put cheesecake in box, and leave the room.
