argh, I know how to play a it piano, so far so good, but .. it isn`t salt.. Any hints anyone? Pretty stuck.. I saw that there is a hint for the code here, butdon`t want to use it / see that hint before I know where or why..

I'm out, but I had to cheat and use the code you gave. I'm pretty sure one of the clues for it is

on the front right support next to the lock

, but I couldn't find anything to fit the pattern and complete it.

If anyone figures it out please let me know, this will drive me nuts!

That's the trick.

you don't need the tears from the guy, but at the 3rd time, play a bad tune, and the little creatures start to cry
