But it doesn't work yet.
Followed the clue on the attic for the switches, but it doesn't seem to apply. Tried some other combinations too.

Use the clue below mirror again on switches, and use the remote control with clubs card on mirror, to get a key.

on wardrobe, but it doesn't open!! Switch trick again? Clue attic doesn't work..

All switches must be down to open wardrobe.

Use Hearts card on remote control for door, but didn't get it to work yet..

Another clue can be found next to the door.

EDIT: Well, I got out last night, but with a lot of struggling.
Couldn't update my post because of the about 11 hour down time of GH.

Babelfish translation of the clock

1. 寝静まる時 = When sleeping becoming quiet
2. 丑三時 = Ox three o'clock
3. 槍を準備する時 = When preparing the spear
4. 夢の中 = In dream
5. 日の出の時 = At the time of sunrise
6. ダイヤ輝く時 = When the diamond shining
7. 目覚める時 = When awaking
8. 出かける時 = When going out
9. 心休まる時 = Heart 休 it is round the time
10. 到着の時 = When arriving
11. 開始の時 = When starting
12. 若葉芽生える時 = When the new leaves budding

You need 4 cards to get out of the room.

In the wardrobe room is a hidden safe in the wall on the right side of the door (halfway the wall, in the corner). You need to set the switch according the clue in this room, and use the remote control with the clubs card to reveal it.

Of course you need a key to open he safe. That key can be found in the wardrobe room too.

Set the switches according the mirror clue. Go to the hole in the wall, left side corner in window view. Use the diamonds card on remote, and click the arrow up four times.

This game is really tough, and requires a lot of patient. The switches, changing cards, etc makes the game a tad annoying. Nevertheless, it is a very good game.

I hope I recall correctly..

Put down all switches, go back in wardrobe robe, and use remote control with spades.

EDIT: Wait, you first too have to..

put the cards on the metal front of the door in the right order. Use the babelfish clock translation for the correct order. When the bar on the metal front start to glow blue, the cards are placed correct, and you can take them away again.

There isn't a hole in the attic wall. It is the code for the switches to turn on the lights. It's not easy to see located above the left hand side of the manhole.

Put the batteries in the laser pointer. Select the magnifying glass and click the about button. Then with the laser pointer highlighted, click the bottom of the handle of the magnifying glass. They will combine and you can read the code.

I had magnifying glass highlighted to get in area in right drawer

Hint on page 2 was driving me nuts - I restarted .. and then this it what worked for me.

Had to pause to rustle up dinner, eat, coffee on the porch. I was exhausted from the ladder. Now back to trying to get a light on. And find two more of those things. Should have read the post above this first .. hmm.. didn't know you could do that *grin*

I finially got back in the wardrobe (after reseting the switches for the umteenth time), then checked code, back out to reset them, swapped cards, .. and nothing.. tried using mag. glass and remote .. just remote .. Justs nothing working. Takes me forever to get something to work. Never got the clock to change time either. Mind not working ..

going to check email .. then look for something a first grader can do
