I made an extra note about this in the first post when I figured it out.

Oops, I thought it asked if I want to play again and clicked no.

Remember that you can just retry the last sequence if you say YES to re-try. You don't have to replay the whole game.

use it sort of the other way around That's where I was stuck. Empty = switch on

DOH found it, however turning it on is the next trick i can't figure out yet. Hints might help

I had a feeling there was something in the tank, but as I got a closeup of the toilet instead of of the tank, I figured it wasn't possible to see it.
