can't fine the DVD at the bottom of the rolled carpet. I've been trying for over an hour but I don't find anything. Everytime I click on the bottom of the carpet it only rolles back

When the carpet is rolled, click on the bottom of the rolled carpet. You will see the shadow, click there. Somewhere in the middle. You will get a different view and see something red under the carpet. Thats the DVD. Get it.

the carpet is rolled, I have clicked on the bottom of the carpet several times and it only rolles back. I see no shaddow

When you roll the carpet you will see a little shadow of the rolled carpet(the rolled edge) You need to click that in order to get the DVD.

Now i'm stuck with the wheel

I manages to plug it in, but when I tries to click on it to turn it only end up in the item box again

Now get the CD out and put the DVD in. Play it. It will play some music.
~ Let the DVD be inside. Go to the frame. Click on the kitty's face (where the nose should have been).
~ You will see two arrows.
~ Click on the bottom one and the projector will lower down.
~ Now click on the couch. Click on the left armrest of the couch. Click on the left side of the armrest to turn the lights off.
You will see a play button. Click it and watch the DVD.


help:that didn't worck for me,i did exactli as you sed but when i turn off licht rom the couch it's telling me that:you cant move in the darck ,something like this,and i can't find the button for play the dvd.tell me what to do i'm gooing crasy.

i need helpit's not worcking for me,can't find the play button.

The play button can be hard to find. Click the armrest of the couch like crazy, and you will get a different view of the armrest, a side-on view. The buttons will appear.

I've been clicking the leaves so many times, but I still can't find the paper. I must've clicked on every single leaf on the left side of the plant

nvm. got it. It took me several times clicking on the same leaf before I got it

Hi guys...I am stuck..really hard game...
I definitally can't open the trap door...I tried to use the L thing on the right side of the white square but nothing happened........
I tried it from every angles,every way you can imagine..Yes I read zilions walkthroughs but no luck...
How God???????How????????????Any pictures of the right spot to use it????
I have everything..The dvd,cd,3 pieces of paper,the wheel,the cat painting...everyhting...but I am stuck at this point..The trap door on the floor

Just one question...I have a L shaped bracket...Did you combine it with something or did you do something with it..because I definitally can't make it work..Cause from the pic you posted,it's not L shaped..
Can you please be kind enough to iluminate me...Gosh I am stupid

I'm not sure just what I'm doing wrong here. I get to the very end of the game, and turn the wheel 4 times at 30 seconds left on the timer. I've got the screen in the down position, and I have replaced the wheel in inventory. No matter how perfect I perform the actions - I still succumb to the fumes of gas. What the H@%%? I have gone through this game 5 times in the last 23 hours.
I'm going to try going through, and making sure I'm not taking any lazy shortcuts that would have me miss finding any of the items or performing any of the "rituals" - hopefully I can live to play Out File #02?
Btw: I LOVE this game. Only one better for me was The Dead Case.

Any help/tips would be greatly appreciated.
