u need to put the powder in the canon, the brush, the shot, the little rope and light it by the candle.

powder is above the cabinet
brush from the statue
the yellow shot is under the gun take it but it in the train, but fire in the train from the fireplace and then u will get the black shot.
take the scessor from under the curtain and cut a piece from the carpet and u will got the little rope

I am stuck with the rest of you. I am truly stumped at what to do next. The candle does appear to already be lit, but what can we be missing?

Take scissors and cut fringing from mat on floor, it used for the wick for the canon.
