The 3 comes up on the sidebar as soon as you open the game. You can use it from there. There is no 3 tag anywhere, just the one that comes up.

p.s. i couldn't figure out where you guys found the code 39051? without the hints i wouldn't be able to do it, i think.

well...you've sort of answered your own question.... when you split the bin to get the key, the stuff in the bottom of the bin was written in Wingdings. That's how you could have figred out the code.

I got the trunk opened thanks and got the third key, when I try to use it on the door it says, What the?! It's a false key.........
