Went back and tried again! This time I applied the circle hint to the red buttons on the dog picture and it opened for me

and it opened for me and gave me another paper and green key. The key I used when I left the room and it gave me the happy end

Did you get the paper from under the desk? Then put it on the circle picture on the wall and you get the hint.

Came quite a way on my own and together with a bit of brute force...But thanks for the hints guys... made it bearable when I got stuck.
