Had the same as you, except

tried whacking the vase and then the clock with the hammer. Broke the hammer, so it's gone from my inventory.

Also stuck.

@ Mistery: There's another math problem.

I was able to access it after I broke the hammer by clicking on the table where the first code was input. The clock now wants a 2-digit code.

Edit: I gave up trying to solve the second math problem and just brute forced it.

Got a glove. Used glove on vase; got a dirty knife. Portrait of woman has changed.

That vase is a killer!! It broke my knife too!!

Out but had to use brute force to get there.

I think I got out... six misty looking hands came after me though! LOL

Brute forced all the codes (durn vase broke everything!). Coulda been nice if I'd have had a language clue!
