Counting in words instead of numbers Five Six Seven etc....

Anyone around? Having problems with the box with the letters on it.
I see we can enter letters/numbers in the upper left and lower right squares, but nothing happens.
I have

unopened bag of catfood-unused, pot-used w/water, sausages-used, envelope w/ code that I believe helps open the box

stuck...

Each letter is the first letter of a number. Now try to fit in the letter for the correct number for each row
