The Etude is another Japanese point and click type escape the room game created by Takatsuka. In this game, you are locked in a room and you have to find necessary items and solve puzzles to go out the room. Good luck.

Kinda lost what to do. I have

a doll and knife

I have seen

trap door with lock. Can take string off plant and make everything black and white. Open and close doors and see different scenes.

that's where I'm located also. can't seem to connect anything. Can also change color of a flower or two near skulls near items. maybe replay and let first closet scene do its thing before clicking on it?

In escapecames24 there is a walkthrough from Shuchun, but it doesn't work for me. I neither can't get the fish nor put the doll in wardrobe. Got in grey mode a pink flower.

Ah! Restarted and all works well. You don't need a fish.
