Do you have:

The candle from the chandelier in the dining room and the zippo lighter from the bathroom sink?

If so, what you want to do is:

Light the candle with the lighter, open top to jack-o-lantern in main living room, place candle inside, turn out the lights using the light switch on the wall where the couch moves by itself. Take a look by turning around in the room until you see something interesting. It will point the way.
