I did find 2 different settings to show numbers, but nothing worked yet.

I found 2 hints but it seems there must be another one. But since I already figured out 2 numbers out of 4 I just kept clicking.

hint 1

change the 5 puzzle to look like H H. you will see the numbers:red 2, blue 3, yellow 6

hint 2

change the puzzle - first one down, second up, third down, forth up. You will see numbers: red:7, yellow:0, grey:4

I'm guessing the hint 3 will be on the painting on the wall?

anyway from the notebook hint you add those numbers. Obviously I don't have all the hint but I kept changing the number and the code number is:

Hmmm, strange... I did find those 2 different settings, but I got
4172 which didn't work. I guess I'm somehow counting wrong

Since I have the correct code numbers already I decided to find out why and I figured it out!

the fist code (from H H):
You have to think of colors mixing together and what color it becomes.

so the first code on the left will be red:2, blue 5 (mixed color will be purple so that part is shared by both red and blue.)
the code on the right - it's mix of yellow and blue = green so the green part is shared by blue and yellow. so yellow = 6, blue = 5.

next hint:

the code on left is shared by red and grey. so red = 7, grey= 1
on the right, yellow and grey are mixed. yellow = 0, grey = 4

add these numbers and the correct code number will come up.
