ok the bamboo is impossible. I've been working on it for 20 minutes, and it's never right. There are only so many ways to do it, and I've done it every way possible. Moving on to a better game worth wasting my time on.

Couldn't figure out the bamboo sticks even with the picture clue Looks like I'm gonna have to give this one up!

EDIT: I failed! Used a walkthrough I found to help me solve the bamboo so I'm out but not on my own.

Someone did say something about another view but I have only found the two main views. Haven't seen a picture(only in the hints). I am assuming when I get the right time the gears will start to turn???????

Edit-got the gears to turn. Now I have new view. I don't understand why the clock didn't work when I was trying to brute force it.

I still don't see clock hint where you said and almost lost my eyeballs trying to see it! Now I am fighting with the bamboo. Just about ready to give up. This seems very frustrating. But thanks for the hints this far.

Edit: My bamboo just doesn't work that way.

each can only go down four times before it starts coming back up again.

So there is no way I can do it. No wonder the others had such a bad time with it.

Edit again: Yes I found that after setting the clock but can't get back to that view now. I am going to try for a couple more minutes and if I don;t get anywhere I'm going to quit.

I give up. The only logical thing that worked in this game was the first piece found for the clock. From there it just made no sense.
