i can't pick anything up but the book

there is a key in the left stocking for an upstairs door. That's all I have found

Nothing. Losing interest in this one. Mouse over the trumpet in stairwell and game says it's a saxophone. Come on. How can you mistake a brass instrument for a woodwind?
