Does anyone have a better hint for the second cell than the paper gives me? I've tried to switch the numbers, but the 8+1 confuses me...

Start with the first hint on the fuse box:

Apply the number swap hint 1<->3 and 2<->4 to get the first code:

I'm stumped on the 3rd code

AAHELPME is 8 letters and was under the A=5...
So I'm trying to get an 8 digit number from it:
55296079: use A=5, then wrap to 0 when I hit ten
11852635: use A=1, then wrap to 0 when I hit ten
00741524: use A=0, then wrap to 0 when I hit ten
56308179: use A=5, and carry extra to the left

No luck so far.

I'm starting to think the code was figured out using Cheat Engine... and no one actually knows how to get the third code =)

Ok... I found a couple notes from the author perhaps:

YoYoko: Don't try to think A=5 is a letter, think it as a picture.
YoYoko: You see how many "leg" for a A got, 5 rite? the E have 6 "leg" then

"leg" looks like the poster means 'points sticking out'.
5 on A, 6 on H, 6 on E...

Look at the table, and move the books. The tic-tac-toe games' circles represent keys from the keypad. Under the bee logo on the top right is the number '2' (Thanks for that solution-obscuring pointless advert).
The circles are in the position:
