Thinking there's a language barrier... So far I have

7 notes (unreadable), chain (used), ribbon (used), lights (used), bell (used), blue ball (used), and a teddy bear (not sure what to do with him!)

well after finding most of the frill for the xmas tree, fixing a few things and finding heaps of clues to the code I began to suspect that the is a language barrier here and because of that this wont be such a mini escape after all...
Giving up here - good luck with the code and hope you prove me wrong.

I've found:

9 notes
Tree items: bell, red ball, blue ball, candy cane, lights, tree poofs (?), tree tape, paper rings, teddy bear, bag.

I combined the bear with the bag, but don't know where to put it. I'm only missing one note, and can't get into the box due to language barrier.
