Have tried to input 3 number code and can't. Also can't find where to use the magnet. Can anyone help, please?

I didn't have any trouble with the 3-digit code. Zoom on the nightstand I think? But I'm having a lot of trouble fishing out a key.

And for the magnet, I've combined it with

a fishing rod

and now am trying to use it for the obvious, to no avail.

Finally:

Don't click the drain with the fishing rod selected, but click somewhere to the right of it and it will stick in the scene.

Thanks Kihravi. Am trying to do something with the fishing rod now. Can't seem to combine it with the magnet and, like Freakmudda, can't find a drain either. Oooh, it's infuriating.

I think I clicked the rod and it enlargened on the screen and then I combined them.

Have clicked on the bathtub in full and right hand view with the fishing rod endlessly and nothing, but nothing happens. Could the game be buggy, do you suppose?
