Lets see what all the fuss is about!!

Ok agreed it is quite cryptic.

toothpick (used), screwdriver (used), draw handle (used), key (used), box with dark liquid, candle stick (used), knife (used)

The stars represent letters of the alphabet found (as furniture) about the room

I see a T shaped table beside the bed, a E shaped table by the desk, a I shaped bench by the window and a Q in the clothes cupboard.

Find the numbers above the letters on the keyboard and then do the math

For me it was T(6)-4=2, E(4)+1=5, I(9)-5=4,
Q(2)+1=3 2543

Used box on ink in wooden box and then on white paper - got symbols similar to those under wooden box - part of new code?

You have to solve the clues from the pictures

Picture 1 - shows that this relates to the six shelves with toys and the number of toys.
Picture 5 shows in which order to apply the equations to the shelves

Got red button and new symbols on inside of box

Using diagram from book on shelf we see that the 5 digit code comprises of a 2 and 3 digit number

Combine symbol fom under wooden box with the one on the white paper - see attached image

You need to check out the 3 different cryptic writings hidden around the room

Chinese letter writing in bottom shelf under model plane, doodles on bench by windows and blue shapes in toys cupboard

Choose the character from the writing which is most like those in the cupboard i.e consisting of two symbols one upper and one lower part (click 5 times) - I brute forced this one (see Escape Games 24 for more detailed explanation)

Choose the symbol that is most like the doodles on the bench i.e. also with 5 intersections (click 3 times)

Choose the symbol that is most like to those on the bench i.e. with two overlapping mirrored parts (click 6 times)

Opening the box gives you the final key for the door and yer out!!!

code - I type 4,5,& 6 with same finger I type T .. 5 & 6 are straddling T - so makes it difficult. the code you used doesn't work for me. Tried some others that also didn't work.
Goinig to hang it up on this one.
