On the match puzzle they will not place where I want them.

I have the same issues, I have solved all levels of the other puzzles, but I can't make the matches go to other places

It changes as soon as you have placed it - it means that a vertical match can become a horizontal match, and the other way around.
The matches puzzles are quite tricky.

You need to take one match from the 9 and place it elsewhere

3 + 4 = 07

You need to take one match from the 8 and place it elsewhere

There is no cheat.

You only may move one match to make the math work.

Edit: Ah, you already figured it out. NVM then.

Yeah, I did.
However when I first finished, I didn't get the key...

Yes, the game is not very stable. I couldn't move one of the gears at my first attempt.

Not sure if there was a trick to take the key. I couldn't grab it at first, but a few seconds later I could.

The first and this of the puzzle series I liked most. I had no trouble; but usually you were told, how many matches you have to place on other place or throw away. But it was so easy, no advice needed.
