HEEEELPPPP!! I clicked and clicked on the file but it doesn't open! maybe I must do something before?

I give up... my friend opened it easily... there must be some problem....

Here is a walkthrough of how far I have got. Its not in any order.

Click on the side of the screen until you get the scene with the water cooler. Click to zoom in on that and press the button above the cup. Once the cup has filled with water, click the cup to take it.

Next, change the scene and click on the side of the chair. There is the battery.

Change the scene to the flower plant next to the door and click to zoom in on the plant. There is the ipod.

In the same scene, click on the white floor and it should zoom in and there will be a hole. Click and drag the cup to the hole and it will fill with water. Click to take the item that has appeared.

Go to your inventory and click on the ipod. Then click and drag the battery to it. There will be a number on the screen of the ipod. Thats the code to the safe.

Go to the safe, press the numbered buttons using the cose you recieved from the ipod and then open the safe. Take the key.

Go to the scene with the desk, click underneath to zoom in on the bin and take the screwdriver.

Go to the drawers in the desk and click and drag the key to them. Open the last draw and take the item.

Change the scene to the bookcase and in the first collum, third row down, there is a large sqaure on the right side of the shelf. Click to zoom in and use the screwdriver.

Change the scene to the desk (where you are facing the watercooler) and use the new item on the laptop.

Zoom in on the laptop and click the red circle. Using the numbers from the item you got from the drawers and from the bottle top from the hole in the ground, enter the password.

Thats as far as I have got. I will update the walkthrough as I progress

I have found all the items - I think:
a key

opens upper and lower drawer in the desk

a thingy - I don't know what it is but I put it in

the pc

glass of water

used in the hole under the carpet. Got a number which I believe is part of the code for the pc

screwdriver

used to rip open the box in the bookcase

walkman
battery

put one in the other and you get code for the safe

diary

=number which might be part of the pc code

I started the pc, put in the two numbers and now I'm staring at a screen with the icon of a folder and the word "Code", but nothing happens when I click or doubleclick the folder and the word.
Maybe the numbers are not the code?
Any ideas anyone?

The strange black & yellow thing from the book case will go into the drawers when they are locked (& disapears). I started again & it will also go into the laptop after the drawers are open. What is it & what is it for?
Still can't open the code folder on the laptop.

Found the numbers from cap looking thingy and diary but when try to put the # in, nothing happens... I think it says error because won't let me in. What am I doing wrong? the numbers I got was... from cap looking thing....82, from book....219. tried:82219, 21982 .... nothing!! Any help????

done it , all i did on the code file thing is click on it really fast a couple of times, then double click the file really fast
