I've now been inside cupboard, found and used the item, then combined contents to make a funny looking toy (I think)

Click on the bedrom door handle to see a floor view then place the hammer in front of the door to wedge it open

there is a patrol robot. Stuck with a hammer, gps equipped and fueled robot, and the remote still active.

I feel totally lost. Have found/done the following -

domino looking thing, blue paper, wire frame (that will hold bottle), bathroom key, lemon, bottle(used), paper "1 + 2 X 3 = ", hammer & corkscrew.

iRant - I just pushed buttons on the table until I got the correct one. Its a simple shape.

I am done, but I had to look for a walkthrough to finish the game.
What I would like the know is how you figured out the codes that go with the different card keys?
I have read different explanation and I still don't get it.

Honestly, how did that "1+2*3" note help you find the codes?

Please explain it to me.

Code

1+2*3= gives a hint about the codes on the 3 3x3 squares.

In fact you have to "draw" +, X and = on each of those grids.
