I got a bunch of stuff and went to the next room and got more stuff but I'm stuck now.

got:

a box (used) oil lamp (used) hammer, plybar, stick & strings(combined but not used), nippers, some sort of glass?, rope and a key(used). also I see a torch looking thing that I cannot grab.

I know what you mean! And usually I do really bad with gazzyboy games and often I just quit because I can't figure out. I'm surprised myself that I somehow managed to escape.

I didn't look for help, I just took a little break, watched television and when I returned to the game I got out on my own. YES, finally.
I think my main problem is that I want to go faster than I should.
I should take more time to figure things out.

Escape the Bunker

Ok, stuck. What to do with the stick with the loop on the end?
What to do with rope on ceiling,,,,already cut a piece off

Did you open the locked gate? you will use the stick with loop after you get out from the locked gate. I don't think you need the remining of the rope from the ceiling.

got out, used lizard, went up ladder.....stuck

Did you take more than the lizard?

barrel, used your axe on the seiling, just dig your way out

Above ground you will find a wheel.
Go back in and think about a chest where you can use the wheel.
After that you should have no problem getting out through the gate.
