Well, I am stuck too. Since my last post I charged the torch and the map device, found the rum, bulb, and got word from glass and hint from bulb.

I don't know where to use the word yet, but the hint of the bulb is obvious for

the thingy on the left of the lockers.

I don't see anything special on the map.

Hmm, I never did anything with the spot on the floor below the window.. gonna see if I can now.

Edit: A bit progress for the thingy on the left of the lockers.

Combine gold coin and pliers and use it on the thingy to get an = sign.

Didn't figured out what it accomplished.

you now see a red dot.

Found hidden panel

use pliers to remove to remove the wooden plate

Put the bulb in the lamp on the table and put it on. If you return a little later and take it out agian an instruction on the bulb has appeared.

Unstuck.. found purpose of hidden panel

Hmm word of glass doesn't seem to be the password. Tried it reversed as well.

Combine blade with pliers, and go to view the left side of the couch.
There is a spot on the left side of the couch you can cut.

If you saw the star, and made a red X, there should appear OK. This means you can open the safe. Plug the charger you get from it in the outlet from the couch.

I can't find the

gold coin

it's located on the top right of the door. When you click it a few times it falls down. Click the lower part of the door (above the go back bar) to see the ground and the coin.

Took me absolutely ages (and a lot of clicking) to find the gold coin once it had fallen on the floor.

Can't get to the lighter either, even after clicking approxiametely a million times above and around the sofa. Plus I have left the bulb in the lamp for ages, still no sign of a clue.

Is it just me?

Good game ruined by poor gameplay, giving it up.

For the lighter

You first have to view the shadow on the floor of window on the other side of the room. The shadow will tell you there is something in front of the window.

Now go to view the couch (zoomed in from the front) and click above the couch to get a look at the window. Click the window to zoom in on it.

As far for the bulb.

Put the bulb in the lamp on the table and turn it on. Wait some time and take it back. Double click the bulb in your inventory to examine it. Click the bulb again to make it turn and to see the hint.

If there is no hint on it, put it back in the lamp again. Charging the torch and map device thingy took very long. It's possible the same counts for the bulb.

I love Gotmail games!!! Though, I think for this one you have to do/see things before you can advance and use other items...

That was a great Gotmail game the I missed - agreed very difficult in parts particularly the wordcode which I had to cheat on.
Typical for these games is that you often must combine thing many times - eg. recharging more that one item, or moving sim cards back and forth.
Patience and a good helper are rewarded.
