one thing I picked up looks like a ponytail holder (rubberband w/ jewel/button or something on it. ??? And I have 2 more things so far.
two more things.

match, two pieces put together, key, 2 gears (placed) & I think lit 5 torches - are their more?

I've used all at least once. need a good flashlight - dark areas.

OHOH missed Yvonne .. I'm off to the porch with a stop by the coffee pot. Back in a jiff

I wish I had more light, have trouble identifying my items.
No clue yet on where and how to use them.
Have 3 items so far.

Edit:
The door looks unlocked but I cann't get out.
Still only have 3 items.

Edit:
Put 2 items together and used it to lit my 3rd item, now I have a torch.

Edit:
And I have light in the room now.
Finally can see a little bit more now.

Edit:
Finished dinner and had a coffee. Let's see if I can get out.
I have made some progress but I'm still missing something.
I'm beginning to doubt if I can escape this one on my own.

I'm out but I needed help again. Too bad I came so far on my own. Allways sad if I cann't finish it on my own.
Missed a place to use the torch although I had searched everywhere.

my lever doesn't work on crate - I've tried 25 times

I have everything except last item and can't get it due to this glitch / pixel picky thing.
So I'll just call it done.

Did you

lit the lamp in the most right scene near the small wall? Behind that wall you will find a shovel. In the first scene with the door you'll see a crack on the right side of the floor, use shovel there and get a crowbar. Use crowbar on crate to get key. Then get out.

I am going to restart, I found two keys, and they are overlapped. Buggy? Definitely pixelish

Wasn't looking like much of a game before I cheated and read Yvonnes hint about light!
Then it was both fun and a little challenging - thanks for the post!
