DUH! I was trying to match up what I could see, and work in the hint from the text thingy at the same time. No wonder it wouldn't work.

Ok, having trouble with the

constellations--every website I look at has a different number of stars.

... Or is it

the ones given in the screen with the obelisks? If so, why does it have different symbols by the teleporter?

Out! A little confused about the reason for all the broken Earth items, though.

Seems to just be a hint of the kind of thing you're looking for. The right numbers match the symbols on the teleporter.

The three constellations on the device are Aries, Leo, and Scorpio; looking up their numbers of major stars, they're 4, 9, and 15, so the password is 4915.

That was fun. I'm not sure why all those objects were lying around. Why would anyone need a coathanger in space?
