Well it doesn't work for me.

And use it

on the painting to get a fuse

Used the fuse and now the color codes works.

Wall Puzzle

I managed to brute force the answer.

Well, this is different and I'm wondering if I need to start over .. did I make a mistake? I have

4 numbers, screwdriver (used once), knife and crowbar. I had battery that I gave to butterfly that I have no control over.

Evidently the zombie moved? Probably hours behind everyone else. And I need a rest area break LOL
Progress -

used knife (no longer in item list) and got fuse

I got side tracked with a phone call, dog, ... and a good movie - which just wrapped up. 5 numbers .. can't recall how many I need. LOL need to use some other items I guess.
6 #s and used item to the far right of my items list.

I've stared too long? going to check email and then one more look at hints from other posters with a new eye to see if I missed help.

I did go check email and send off a couple of quick replies to friends.
Found spot I needed at last. I'm slow ..
Now at a gate .. and my item doesn't work. OK - repaired nd out with the apples - and off to bed.

The second room is really farfetched. I went on another site to get a walkthrough. The code is a list of letters, We were supposed to guess that they want us to list them in order of appearance from lef to right on a keyboard (why?) then cut the "M" out (why?) and then use the buttons according to what row the letter on the list is on the keyboard (why?) regardless of what is written on the button itself.

The code is the first letter of each word in that sentence, you line them up in the top boxes. I and Ts are the same
