Thanks for the nudge Yvonne. Trying to put 18 skulls in the grid. Those scrolls don't help me. Still have the the creepy finger ring and two empty inventory slots.

Yay, figured out code myself.
Got 17 skulls, and 2 scrolls.

Hmmm, where's the last skull?
Were there 9 or 10 in the chamber above? I found 9 there.

Okay, after a long search found the last one.
Got still 2 scrolls.
Let's see.

I'm back from my break, I need to go look for the last skull aswell and then put them in the grid.
I only have one scroll.

Edit:
Again I found the answer somewhere else for the skull puzzle. Never saw a clue on that one and if the dark brown skroll is a clue then I didn't get it.

I didn't understand the logic for symbols or skulls. On the last code and regrettably will wait for the answer. Just not clicking on this one. Thanks for all the hints.

a=r, f=m, l=g, d=o, k=h,b=q

but I still don't get it.

And another tricky one is
