I'm missing one item that Chocbubbles has found but I'm stuck anyway.

Acetone behind and to the right of the basket, use scissors, I can't remember where I found scissors

I need more

use scissors on mesh behind barrel of pumpkins to get acetone

use on cabinet

use star from painting in left kitchencupboard on the house

I also found

but don't know where to use them yet.
I'm also not sure what to make of the pictures.

No I have found 2.

1 for left cupboard and 1 for box

I'm out....and I did the code on my own. Yeah, that doesn't happen very often.
I did found help on EG24 about the symbols in the book and cloudpicture.

1st=starpicture, 2nd=pumpkin, 3rd=cakeplate, 4th=shoepicture, 5th=milkhouse

this is not a translation of the words. Remember the hint you found

under cupboard.

For the final code

take the symbols from the cloudpicture

look the symbols up in the book and give them their number

put the numbers in a row as shown on the cloudpicture and subtract the number from hint

I hope that there will be an English version aswell because I didn't understand the end. Except for the "to be continued" part. It was a nice game though.

Yup, there should be a school subject called "Japanese for room escapers" where you learn the specific vocabulary
